Therefore, it detected that the key may have been pirated etc. After I looked through various forums, I came to the conclusion that this may have been due to the fact that I installed Adobe cloud and signed in with the same account that the cs6 key was associated with. I reopened it, and a different window came up, saying that I was no longer able to use the program. However, next time I went to close it thinking that it was a mistake, the whole program closed. I closed the window and thought nothing of it. However, a week or so ago, I had a notification upon opening the program which said that 'your trial has ended' and giving me options to exit or upgrade to full version. I followed the link to install, (which is Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications​), entered the key etc and managed to install perfectly well. About a year and a half ago, my dad purchased a Photoshop cs6 key for me off of Amazon, and I believe that it was a third party seller.
